And that would be our 10 year old, taking pictures of her food. Not sure when this interest bubbled up, though she enjoys taking pictures in general - of the baby, the cat, leaves, flowers, etc.
She is an artist at heart, for instance, once she made this out of mushrooms and took a picture...
The running shroom!
I often find funny photos of the baby, and lots of blurry pictures. This one she somehow took with a pair of binoculars, I think it's pretty cool!
Do your kids do the same? Not sure if she'll continue with her food photos, but it seems I'm sharing my lil' old point and shoot all the same. Think it's time this mama got some spoiling with a proper new camera, don't you think? :)
She's very talented! I love the running mushroom, very creative. Yes, I think you should encourage that talent with a nice new camera!
ReplyDeleteALWAYS time for a new camera. Mine's held together with duct tape yet it still keeps clicking away... even with my kids borrowing it!!
ReplyDeleteMy kids do the same thing! I love seeing the world through their eyes when I find photos they've snapped with the camera. And they love doing food photos, too. They are growing up with a weird view of food - you cook it, you arrange it nicely, you take pictures of it...THEN you eat it! Ha!
ReplyDeleteYes! All 3 of my boys (ages 9- 2 1/2) take pictures with my camera. Their favorite subject? Usually the dog. But, also a lot of the floor, and what may be on it: toys, laundry. And of course some unflattering photos of me. :)
ReplyDeleteyour daughter is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteVery creative and imaginative. My camera was my best friend when I was really young, I love taking all kinds of photos when I was young too, especially animals!
The running mushroom is so innovative.Love your idea about food and its preparation.
ReplyDeleteSo delicious. I must try.
