A few additional tips for you when making the Fudgy Brownies I posted yesterday...
First, if you don't have a small food processor to grind your chocolate chips, or don't have time to do so, then simply add whole chocolate chips - not a problem. Or, put the chips in a small ziploc bag and use a heavy mug or rolling pin to crush.
Second, don't cut the brownies until completely cooled. In fact, once they are cooled, you can cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate before cutting. They are even easier to cut when cold, and very yummy. (I am guilty of cutting into the brownies while still warm, though!)
Now, an idea for complete brownie mania!...
Want to make these brownies even more irresistible? Melt 3/4 dark chocolate chips with about 1/4 cup non-dairy milk in saucepan over medium-low heat (similar to Chocolate Hemp Squares topping in Vive, but not more than 1/4 cup milk). Once melted and smooth, remove from heat, cool a little, then drizzle chocolate mixture over cooled brownies and refrigerate. Warning: May cause chocolate-induced giddiness!
P.S. I promise my next post will be very healthy to compensate for the chocolate indulgence! :)
