Yay! I'd love to get the Everyday Vegan to sit next to Vive on my bookshelf! Regardless, I'll buy it if I have to!

I have been wanting Vive for a long time and I finally ordered both at once. They will probably be here to me in the mail tomorrow, which totally figures. But at the same time, I am glad I could contribute my money to a good cause. I keep finding all these fantastic photos and read your site a lot, so I just HAD to buy the books right away! I can't wait to cook from them! Thanks for offering a give-away, not much is "free" anymore, you know!?!

Hi Dreena,

Great idea for the giveaway!

Are you going to be at Vegfest this year? I just noticed that you were on the schedule for last year. I'm going to demo vegan chocolate desserts. It would be fun to meet.

Wow! What an awesome offer. I really like the Everyday Vegan cookbook and find it very useful, but as of yet haven't been gotten a copy of Vive Le Vegan, so this is a great incentive for me. I visit your blog almost daily anyway to see what yummy things you've whipped up.
Keep up the good work Dreena because we love to eat at my house!

Three cheers for giveaways!

I don't own either of your cookbooks (I've just borrowed them both from the library), so I will cross my fingers...

very cool. I'm all for more cookbooks!

I haven't gotten either, but I've been hearing raves for your books.

I have both books but my mother-in-law has expressed interest in them.

Contest ideas: maybe get people to send in photos of recipes they make from your books?

I made Earthy Lentil Soup tonight but it wouldn't make a great photo, lol.

Awesome idea! Count me in. I must admit I don't have either book yet but what you've posted here so far looks awesome.

I will certainly add my bit! I can always use another vegan cookbook for my shelves, especially if it has a vegan brownie recipe!!! They are hard to find fresh without nuts (I'm allergic.) Those rosemary potatoes look delicious, too. I'm the Mrs. Potatohead in our family, and proud of it. I'll take them any way they are served.

Oooh YUM! I'm a shameless cookbook addict. (my family complain about this, but it never stops them from eating all the delish vegan food I cook, does it?! hehe)

I hope to buy both soon! Just wanted to give you a shout out because you have been so helpful!

I like the "send in a picture of a recipe" idea!

Thanks everyone for all of your support and enthusiasm. I really appreciate all of your cheery comments!!

Yes, leslie, I agree... we all love something free now and then, even a little goodie!

Hi Julie! I read your info on the VegFest site. Goodness, you have done so much already!! (http://www.vegofwa.org/vegfest/chefs.html) I won't be at VegFest - just a bit much to travel with the kidlets! Too bad, though, it would have been lovely to meet you, and I would love to sit in on your demo. What will you be making for the demo, by the way? Get VegofWa to put your website in your bio info, it's so fabulous! (www.juliehasson.com if any of you want to check it out!)

Hey crazy vegan... that's a great idea, thanks! Keep the ideas coming, people!

Glad there are other 'potato heads' out there, vegan knitter!

Ok, Amy, I'll pick you now, just 'cause you asked! :) :) Wouldn't it be ironic if you DID win now?

Thanks everyone!! -Dreena

Oh, so tempting! If I get it I can try the peanut cookie recipe you suggested, because it's been too long since I've had a peanut cookie!

Love Vive Le Vegan! I have been a veggie for 15 years, and am transitioning to veganism. I have to say your cookbook has really helped me! And, I think it's great that you are local:)

That would be ironic if you ended up picking me, I'd get a good laught out of it! And many neat recipes, to boot. :)

I purchased Vive le Vegan over the holidays and have made several recipes. I even baked cookies from your cookbook and I NEVER bake anything!!! The cookies were so delicious and my house smelled warm and comforting.

I especially like the section at the back that includes information for feeding babies and children. What a wonderful idea.

I would love to win a copy of Everyday Vegan.

Warm wishes, Sweet Pea

Hmmm...I may have to comment A LOT! I'd really love to get The Everyday Vegan...then I'd have a set!

Thanks again everyone for your very kind comments.

Strawberry girl and Sweet Pea - I'm so pleased you are both enjoying Vive. Sweet Pea, baking is my favorite thing too, I think partially because of the beautiful aroma it sends through the house! I appreciate your feedback about the baby/toddler section too. It's really tough introducing solid foods to babies, and I found this schedule so helpful feeding both my girls. No tummy troubles, allergic reactions, rashes, etc, so I really wanted to share the information with other parents out there!
