Also for E,D,&BV... White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies.
Not the most colorful cookies, but in this case, that doesn't matter one bit. It's all about the taste, baby, and these are d-lish!
Oh, and if you are wondering about the white chocolate chips, you can get them at Vegan Essentials, or other online stores. These chips aren't the healthiest (ie white sugar), but they are meant for treats like cookies after all.

I was never a fan of white chocolate unless if it was in a white chocolate chip macadamia cookie!
I'm really looking forward to this recipe.

Mmmmmm white chocolate! I haven't had it since going vegan (a year ago). Man, this photo is giving me cravings!
Interesting..I was just looking at those chips on their website today. I may have to get them and make some cookies. Yum!
Just like Tim Horton's. This could be the start of their demise. (insert evil laugh here...hehehehe)
Mmmm I gotta get cookie making soon!
Hi Jenna, I used to like white chocolate... certainly not as much as milk or dark chocolate, but there is something quite satisfying about the macadamia nuts with the white chocolate, though.
Thanks hyphen_helena... hey, you can always pick some up and give it a try now. It's not quite like the white chocolate you remember. It's close, but probably sweeter imo, and not as, well, 'milky'! (thank goodness)!!
Hi Brooke, yeah, they are fun to play around with - just note if you buy them, that the ingredients on the bag are incorrect. The ingredients on the website are the correct ones. For some reason, the ingredient listing on the bag shows artificial colors as ingredients - I checked with vegan essentials about this some time ago after first buying them, and the labelling is incorrect - I'm not sure how the chips are able to be sold in those bags??? - but, just so you know. There is mention of it on the website as well.
Hi Carrie - really, Tim Horton's has this flavor of cookie???! Well, why not, they have just about every other flavor of donut/cookie (at least at one time or another during the year). Yeah, let's take 'em down!! ha!
My, my Julie, I would have thought after that great birthday cake sugar rush you would have been busy already making some new sweets - get to it, girl!! :)
Wow!Is that another one for the finished pile? I know that we can get vegan white chocolate, here in England too, but I haven't sampled it yet! Can't wait to check it out in your recipe!

Oh Dreena, dreena, dreena!
I have veganized white choc. chip cookie recipes before but never get it quite right. Simply using my chocolate chip cookie recipe doesn't quite cut it either.
Very, very much looking forward to this!
im drooling, i cant wait for the new book!
wow I didn't know that vegan white chocolate existed. cool!! thank you
Teddy
Hi Maureen... *almost* done, just one more quick run through, and then yup, chucked into the done pile - hurrah!
Cool, thanks Jess. I can't imagine you not finding some magic to veganize a recipe you like - not with all the amazing cooking and baking you do... all the same, I'm glad this recipe will be on your 'must try' list. :)
Thanks Johanna!
Hi Teddy, yeah, and I just noticed on Vegan Essentials that you can now get a white chocolate bar (by a different company I think). It's a bit $$$ for the bar, but I am quite curious to try it out!
