What Do You Want From Me?

That Adam Lambert song seems to be on the radio all the time.  Don't dislike the song, but not in love with it either... but hear pieces of it so often that I can't seem to shake it.  So, now that I have planted that ear-worm, what do you want from me?  Recipe-wise, that is!

Looking at the recipes I've posted in the past few months, a good chunk of them are sweet - desserts or baked goods.  So, I'm thinking of posting something savory.  Here are just a few of my newbies for you to choose from:

Eggplant Hot Off the Grill!
Smoky Black Bean and Sweet Potato Salad
KaleSlaw with Curry-Almond Dressing
Walnut-Apple Lentil Burgers
Chickpea Sunflower Burgers
Nutty Burgers (made with walnuts, almonds, pecans) (oops, no photo)
Chickpea Sunflower Burgers
Lemon Infused Mediterranean Lentils
Soy-Free Veggie Loaf
Fab Cakes with Smarter Sauce
Baked Macaroni in a Creamy Walnut Sauce with Broccolini (again, photo?)
Fit-tucine Alfredo
Creamy, Smoky Grilled Eggplant Dip (like Baba Ghanoush, but better!)
Moroccan Bean Stew
White Chili

I know, the soups don't seem well placed for this time of year... unless you're having a rainy day as we are in Vancouver.  It's okay, we need the rain, it's been well over a month.  Makes me think about soup season... not all that far away.  And, there I go off on a tangent.  Okay, getting back on track, shout out what you'd like!

  23. When I first read "What Do You Want From Me?" I instantly thought 'Dreena's a Floyd fan!!', but then I read the Adam Lambert part. Ah well. It is on the radio all the time, isn't it?
When I'm thinking good old fashioned comfort food...I'm thinking Veggie Loaf! No one asked for the lemon lentils which I think sounds so intriguing, so I'm asking for those too.
    Thanks Dreena!!

  27. I make a soup on Sunday night out of any of the fresh veggies I got at the market that week. I love just throwing them together.

What I'd like, either as recipes, ideas, or pointers to recipes already in your books (have em) is ideas of what to make for twin toddlers who have no molars so cant chew much. One will only eat things that are very softly cooked or pureed. I'm running low on ideas.
I have a caregiver during the day while I'm at work and lunch has to be either cold or reheatable. I need to make it the night before.

    Ideas?
